Legal Disclaimer

Effective Date: 27/07/2024
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through LAMB BAZAR (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") via our website or any official sales channel. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Product Condition and Descriptions

All items sold by LAMB BAZAR are pre-owned, and may show signs of wear consistent with age. We strive to describe all items accurately and provide detailed photographs. Buyers are responsible for reviewing all descriptions and images before purchasing.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specified. Payment must be made in full before items are shipped or released. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • Domestic Orders: Shipped via trusted local couriers with tracking.

  • International Orders: Sent with tracking and insurance. Customs duties, taxes, and delays are the buyer's responsibility.

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by the courier or customs processing.

4. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final, except as outlined in our Refund Policy. Refunds will only be issued if the item is:

  • Misrepresented in the listing

  • Damaged in transit (proof required within 3 days for NZ orders, 48 hours for international)

  • Incorrectly shipped

Buyers must follow the process in our Refund Policy to be eligible.

5. Ownership and Provenance

Unless otherwise stated, items are sold with no formal certificates of authenticity. Any historical, regional, or date references are based on our best available knowledge, research, or expert consultation. Museum-loaned pieces remain the property of the collector (LAMB BAZAR) unless stated otherwise.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAMB BAZAR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.

8. Updates

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our site or services constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

Understanding Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions, often abbreviated as T&C, are a crucial framework that defines the legal boundaries of engaging with our website. Tailored to our unique offerings, these conditions establish the rights and obligations of both our visitors and us, the website owner. It's important to recognize that the nature of T&C may differ based on the specific services provided. For instance, an e-commerce platform would require different terms compared to an informational website.

Key Elements of Our T&C

Our Terms and Conditions cover a wide array of aspects, including user eligibility, payment methods, flexibility in our offerings, warranties, intellectual property rights, and account management. For a deeper understanding, refer to our guide on 'Crafting a Comprehensive Terms and Conditions Policy.'
